The regulations are very simple and involve the player attempting to achieve the highest mixture of cards achievable in order to come away with money. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payout schedule can range from game to game, so that experienced gamblers are able to choose the most profitable ones each time.

As soon as the first round has completed, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Additionally, a few versions of the game allow the gambler an opportunity to double their profits, in which situation a further round is played. There are also differences among individual machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
